This kit is for a 300 BLK, piston length gas system.
This kit is NOT made for any ar10/ar308/SF308 platform.
Adams Arms handguards and barrel nuts are recommended. You can reference this FAQ page for a rail clearance diagram, as well as a short list of other handguards that might work.

For 300BLK we only recommend a Pistol Gas Length, a Low Mass Carrier, and a minimum barrel length of 8.5″ for optimal performance.

The Adams Arms Piston System:

We recommend using a our Adams Arms barrel nut, standard G.I. barrel nut, or barrel nut with similar measurements for proper fit and function of the kit. Many aftermarket proprietary barrel nuts do not offer the clearance for the drive rod or proper seating of the spring and bushing.
Micro Gas Blocks should have the set screws torqued to 55-60 in-lbs
