This is Alexandria Pro-Fab’s take on a non-reciprocating side charge upper receiver assembly. The charging handle does not cycle with the BCG. The best part about this design is that a special BCG isn’t needed, your mil-spec BCG will work fine – (or ours, grab a Nickel Boron BCG. Or, if you’d prefer, a Nitride finished BCG.)
